for the three Hampshire Council of Governments member towns of Chesterfield,
Goshen, and Middlefield. The program also provides interim support services
for other communities.

Native Lumber -
In accordance with the Massachusetts State Building Code (780 CMR §
2303.1), any native lumber used for load supporting purposes must carry
the stamp of a certified mill. In lieu of a stamp on each piece of lumber,
the Building Inspector will accept a copy of the certified mill’s
stamp on paper for each grade of lumber used.
